Magnetic field of moving charge

A moving point charge creates a magnetic field that circles around its direction of motion. This is described by the Biot-Savart Law $$ \vec{B} = \frac{\mu_0}{4 \pi} \frac{q \vec{v} \times \hat{r}}{r^2} $$ While this is learned in every college-level course on electricity and magnetism, the resulting field is less often visualized. The below video shows a point charge (red) oscillating at a constant speed between $x=L$ and $x=-L$ on the x-axis. The blue arrows then show the magnetic field, which has been rescaled so it is easier to see. The charge's velocity is indicated by the oragne arrow.
